Model United Nations (MUN) Conference

Meritorious College proudly hosted its annual Model United Nations (MUN) conference from 7th to 9th February 2025, bringing together passionate young delegates eager to explore global diplomacy and international affairs. The event began with an inspiring Opening Ceremony that set the stage for three days of rigorous debate, collaboration, and learning. Participants engaged in realistic simulations of UN committees, where they represented various countries, discussed pressing world issues, and worked to draft meaningful resolutions. This hands-on experience helped students develop a deeper understanding of international relations, public speaking, and critical thinking. Throughout the conference, delegates tackled a wide range of global challenges such as climate change, human rights, peacekeeping, and sustainable development. Under the guidance of experienced moderators, students debated with enthusiasm and professionalism, learning how to negotiate and build consensus in a diplomatic setting.
